There are certain cases where Quicken would be the only option, they have a Tri Party arrangement with Seterus and Fannie Mae?to underwrite to the "Refi Plus" guidelines which are more lenient than the "DU Refi Plus", especially as it pertains to prior foreclosure or bankruptcy.?
Generally speaking if you can qualify in DU Refi Plus with a new lender you will find better terms elsewhere, but if you are declined in that version, Quicken would be an?alternative to fall back.
Sadly their retail originators?are often misinformed?on what is available outside of their organization.?
